Alignment Guarantee for all D8 Diffractometers

Bruker has always been at the forefront of providing highest instrument and data quality. This is not only expressed by a smallest step size of 0.0001° 2Theta, but – more importantly – by an accuracy of 0.01° 2Theta on peak positions.

The D8 ENDEAVOR, D8 ADVANCE and D8 DISCOVER come with a unique alignment guarantee, documented in the Bruker Instrument Verification Booklet. Before delivery and at installation each instrument has to pass strict tests based on the internationally accepted, most current standard reference material SRM1976 by NIST:

  • The accuracy of each peak position ≤ ±0.01° 2Theta with respect to the certified values, over the whole angular range.
  • The certified relative intensities and instrument resolution (FWHM) are verified.
  • The most current NIST SRM 1976 is always included with each instrument
  • Optional IQOQ procedures for regulated industries such as the pharma industry based on the instrument verification booklet, facilitating operational qualification (OQ) after installation of upgrades or repairs, performance qualification (PQ) at any time.
