DART JumpShot® HTS maximizes the throughput of DART-MS allowing you to analyze and process large sample sets and rapidly detect analytes of interest. It enables both quantitative and qualitative workflows that are streamlined, highly efficient and largely automated. How does DART JumpShot® HTS work?
DART JumpShot® HTS combines pulsed gas technology, automation hardware and software to analyze large sample sets via a simple three-step workflow that involves:

  • Spotting nanoliter volumes from a 96 or 384 wellplate onto a QuickStrip® - HT Wire Mesh Screen, using an automated pipetter.
  • Transferring the screen to the JumpShot® HTS interface for analysis; linear rail automation hardware maximizes the speed with which the system moves from sample to sample.
  • Using post-data acquisition software Analyzer Pro XD to complete the workflow, via automatic peak detection and data processing; screen rapidly for analytes of interest on the basis of mass and generate a heat map for the wellplate.

Using pulsed gas technology subjects each sample to just 1 – 2 seconds of ionization. This technology is the foundation of the high throughput that DART JumpShot® HTS offers – 96 samples in 6 minutes, 384 samples in 22 minutes.


At the same time pulsed gas technology almost completely eliminates ambient background noise, at the same time increasing target analyte ionization. The results is sharply defined peaks that return to baseline, enabling easier data processing and ultimately boosting sensitvity.
