OpenSpot®- for flexible and efficient single sampling for DART-MS

OpenSpot®
A simple, single-use wire mesh card for transferring samples powders and liquids for DART-MS analysis.

OpenSpot® sample cards are an easy-to-use, simple solution for sampling powders and liquids for DART-MS using the DART-OS interface. Each wire mesh card accepts and retains a single sample.

To use, simply spot the sample onto the card and drop it into the DART-OS interface. The card is automatically guided into the correct position for successful analysis. Measurement takes just a few seconds and the card can then removed and discarded. Minimal solvent. No vials. Simply spot and load.

OpenSpot® Cards are available in packs of 250. Use them to implement fast and flexible DART-MS, whenever you need it.

QuickStrip™:  An easy-to-use, 12 position wire mesh card for automatic sampling

QuickStrip™ sample cards for DART JumpShot® are an easy-to-use, simple solution for the automatic sampling of powders and liquids for DART-MS. Each card has 12 equally spaced sample positions. To use, simply spot samples onto the wire mesh screen, into each space, as indicated. Include standards for quantitation if needed. Then load the whole card into the DART interface.

QuickStrip™ cards are fast and efficient to use. No risk of cross-contamination. No need for further sample preparation.

QuickStrips™ are available in packages of 50, making 600 measurements in total in every box. Use them to improve the speed and efficiency of your DART-MS methdology.

QuickStrip™ HTS enables high throughput sampling for DART-MS

QuickStrip™ HTS sample cards for DART JumpShot® are designed for customers looking to use auto-pipettors and robotic sample pipetting systems to implement high throughput DART-MS.

To use, position a full 96 or 384 well plate on the sample stage of a chosen pipetting station. Mount the QuickStrip™ HTS in its purpose-built metal frame on top of the plate to deposit an accurate volume of sample in each discreet screen position. An integral flattening stage pushes the wire mesh against the frame to ensure a consistent distance between the pipette tips and sample card. Allow the samples to dry in the frame then transfer to the robotic sample arm of the DART-MS system.

No risk of cross-contamination. No need for further sample preparation.

QuickStrip™ HTS cards are available in packages of 20, making 1920 measurements in total in every box. Use them with DART JumpShot® to maximize the throughput of DART-MS.

DIP-it® Samplers

DIP-it® Samplers provide a convenient means to prepare and position samples for DART analysis.

Available in 96-well plate format, sampling is simple: just dip the tip and present for analysis in seconds. No preparation required. The tips can be used with both liquids and solids, and are compatible with a variety of 100 microliter volume pipettors. Ionization occurs in seconds.

Perfect for use with DART-OS and DART JumpShot®, sample pick-up and analysis can be automated, for high-throughput repetitive analysis.

DIP-it® ensure consistent presentation of samples for rapid analyses.

SPE-it™ tips enable efficient, targeted DART-MS for biological matrices

SPE-it™ tips
Formed from SPME fibers, SPE-it™ tips deliver a SPME device in the form of an easy-to-handle micropipette tip. Specifically designed for use with the integrated DART SPE-it™ kit, they permit the isolation of analytes from aqueous solutions and direct analysis by DART-MS. Perfect for use with DART-OS and DART JumpShot® for automated analyses.

SPE-it™ tips have 10 mm of exposed fiber which is contacted directly with the sample matrix. The SPME fibers extract the analyte of interest while at the same time leaving behind salts and other molecules that can cause ion suppression. Fibers are coated with either C18 or PDMS-DVB bonded silica embedded in a biocompatible polymer to optimize performance for the analyte of interest.

SPE-it™ tips, in combination with the DART SPE-it™ kit enable a streamlined and effective workflow – manual or automatic (robotic) - for analyzing biological matrices.

Contact the tip with the sample. Load the well plates with no further sample processing. Discard the used tips.

Analytes can subsequently be extracted from the fiber for confirmation by LC/MS if required.

SPE-it™ tips are shipped in a standard 96-well format tray. The DART SPE-it™ kit comes with:

  • 5 96 well plates
  • 96 SPME fiber
  • Deep Well Plate shaker
  • 2 SPME holders (each holds 12 fibers) and module for use with automation hardware

Additional fibers are available in 8 pack units, 96 fibers per pack. Use SPE-it™ tips to rapidly establish an effective DART-MS workflow for your analyte, to rapidly screen for drugs of abuse, pesticides and many other molecules.
