I am an intellectual property lawyer with a unique background that bridges technology and law. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Juris Doctor in Law, which has allowed me to navigate complex IP landscapes with both technical insight and legal precision.

My career began in Silicon Valley, where I had the privilege of working with top-tier U.S. law firms on high-stakes IP matters for global clients such as Samsung, 3M, TSMC, and Ericsson. These experiences shaped my approach to IP strategy, litigation, and innovation protection across diverse industries.

In 2018, I relocated to Zurich with my husband, who is Swiss and wished to return to his home country. Shortly after, I joined Biognosys, and following its acquisition by Bruker, I took on the role of leading IP activities for Bruker Switzerland and its subsidiaries.

Working at Bruker has been a rich and rewarding journey. The diversity of legal and intellectual property challenges across different countries and business contexts keeps me intellectually engaged and continuously growing in my profession. I particularly value the cultural and cognitive diversity within Bruker—it fosters not only professional development but also personal growth.

For those who thrive on learning and evolving, Bruker is the perfect environment. I’m excited to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Books or Movies? Books- definitely
  • Morning Person or Night Owl? I used to be a night owl when I was younger. But now, as a mother of a toddler, I am definitely a morning person 😊
  • Name one thing that you cannot live without? My family
  • What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working for Bruker? I love to hike in the Swiss Alps. There is something powerful and rejuvenating about connecting with nature and enjoying the outdoors.
  • Favorite food? Anything with Truffles in it, preferably with white truffles.
  • What is your motivation in life? I am motivated by the idea that my work is contributing to the advancement of society. As an Intellectual property lawyer, I work with scientists and engineers and get to hear their innovative ideas on how to improve our machines, which could lead to a better understanding of many diseases or even developing their cure. I also strongly believe in the importance of the rule of law for a civilized society. I love that I can work at this intersection of science and law. I cannot imagine doing anything else that would make me happier.
  • Superpower you would choose? I would like to be able to wave a magic wand and get everyone to have more empathy for a different point of view, even if they continue to disagree with it. I believe that would be the next step in human evolution- the age of reason and empathy.
