During this webinar, Jimmy Fong, Director of Products and Technology at Bruker, will give an engaging presentation about the background of Bruker in two-photon imaging and the Ultima 2Pplus multiphoton microscope. He will also elaborate on the advantages of different modules, including developments in 3D holographic optogenetics enabled by the NeuraLight 3D Ultra spatial light modulator, voltage imaging collaborations for new data with the OptoVolt Module, and mesoscale imaging using the xView Module.

Two-photon (2P) microscopy has advanced our understanding of computation and connectivity in neuroscience. Through in-vivo calcium imaging at cell-resolution, scientists study brain activity from scales of dendritic spines to neuronal networks. Combined with optogenetics and voltage imaging, 2P microscopy offers new insights into dynamic interactions in neural circuits.
Learn about the history of 2P imaging, Bruker’s Ultima multiphoton systems, and a suite of modules that enhance research possibilities in neuroscience. These modules enable 3D holographic optogenetics with NeuraLight 3D Ultra, voltage imaging with OptoVolt, fast volumetric imaging with NeuraLeap, mesoscale imaging with xView, and more. Attendees will also be introduced to the Inverter Module, which provides new imaging capabilities of different biological samples.
