XRD Optics

X-rays generated by the source are shaped by optics into a useful X-ray beam, optimized for the size and shape of the sample and the application.

Bruker AXS’ comprehensive portfolio includes single-crystal type optics such as Johansson and channel-cut monochromators, polycapillary lenses, and in particular multi-layer optics.

SNAP-LOCK enables all of the optics to be exchanged within just a few seconds, no tools and post-adjustment required. Thanks to SmartCalib the system returns to perfect alignment every time. For ultimate ease-of-use we have gone even a step further and developed multiple beam path modules incorporating different optics.

  • TWIN for measuring polycrystalline samples, whether powder, bulk or thin film
  • TRIO matches the analytical requirements for measuring all polycrystalline and epitaxial samples
  • PATHFINDER perfectly serves all thin film applications

Changing beam path is just a simple mouse click. A great advantage for multi-user environments!
